This is a painting of the birth of my Robot, Bob Blockman. I have now done a series of Bob Blockman paintings called my "Lighten Up Series". Bob's Grandfather, Bob the 1st, was created back at the beginning of the '80s in a painting called "Bob's Trial of Life".

PURCHASED PRINTS WILL NOT HAVE WATERMARK My philosophy of art and being an artist is two-fold. The first and most difficult for any of us is to love what we do and have what we love to do be our chosen profession. The second concerns what I produce as an artist. My creations are based on my day to day experiences and observations of humanity and their dealing with the predicament of life. I am not a purist nor do I seek total realism in my art but I try to offer something that will stir the imagination of the viewer. My pleasure is knowing that I may have taken the viewer away from the harsh reality of this world and given them a sense of wonderment and hope.
