This is a painting of a space traveler that has landed his space ship on a desolate lonely planet. The only sound is that of his life support system and the wind blowing thru the sun baked sand. The sphere is one of my favorite modes of transportation. The sphere does imply time travel or wormhole but to me it also suggests a certain peaceful and silent energy presence standing guard over it's traveler. The face is purposely vague hidden behind reflections to add a certain mystery to the painting. I don't like to expose everything to the viewer but let their imagination take over.

PURCHASED PRINTS WILL NOT HAVE WATERMARK My philosophy of art and being an artist is two-fold. The first and most difficult for any of us is to love what we do and have what we love to do be our chosen profession. The second concerns what I produce as an artist. My creations are based on my day to day experiences and observations of humanity and their dealing with the predicament of life. I am not a purist nor do I seek total realism in my art but I try to offer something that will stir the imagination of the viewer. My pleasure is knowing that I may have taken the viewer away from the harsh reality of this world and given them a sense of wonderment and hope.
